Tri Clipper collects nothing. No analytics, no crash reporting, no identifiers, no accounts. Nothing about you or your browsing reaches the developer, and there is no server of ours for it to reach.

Where your data goes

When you clip a page, the extension sends the part of that page you chose to the Trilium server whose address you entered in its settings. That server is yours. It is the only destination, and the request goes straight to it — nothing is routed through a service in between.

What is stored, and where

• Your settings — server address, ETAPI token, templates and preferences — are stored by Safari in the extension’s own local storage on this Mac. They are not synced and not transmitted anywhere except, in the case of the token, to your own server as the credential for your own requests.
• Highlights you make on a page are held in that tab’s session storage until you clip them or close the tab.
• Nothing else is kept. The app holds no history of what you clipped.

Page access

The extension asks for access to the websites you visit because clipping a page means reading it. It reads a page only when you ask it to: when you use the toolbar button, a context menu item, or the keyboard shortcut. It does not read pages in the background and it does not watch what you browse.

Children

Tri Clipper is a tool for saving web pages and is not directed at children. It collects no personal information from anyone, of any age.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the new version will appear at this address with a new date at the top.
